St GregoriosBalagram, named after the patron saint St Gregorios of Parumala, is located at Yacharamvillage, 50 kilometres from Hyderabad, India, on the Nagarjuna Sagar Highway. Established in the year 1985, Balagram has been providing cost effective eye care to thousands of patients, has been taking care of elderly and poor citizens free of cost and continues to provide quality education at affordable cost to hundreds of children. The Balagram currently focusses on the below areas:

  2. St Gregorios Public School
  3. PratyushaBhavan

Garbo Sunday
The Garbo Sunday of Malankara Orthodox Church is the Annual Day of St.GregoriosBalagram, Yacharam. This year it was celebrated on 18th February 2018. Dr. B. Narsaiah Goud, MS, FAIS, FICS, FMAS, Member of Parliament, Bhongir was our chief guest. H.G. Dr Yuhannon Mar Thevodoros, Metropolitan and President of Children's welfare Board of Malakara Orthodox Church, Very Rev YuhannonRamban, Very Rev. SilvanoseRamban, priests and many other dignitaries attended the meeting. Cultural program of Balagram hostel students was an added attraction of the day. Members from various churches of twin cities came in groups. Altogether 700 members attended the same along with locals. Lunch was served to all.

Avoidable Blindness Free Village
Dadapally, Venkateshwara Thanda Villages in Manchal Mandal was declared avoidable blindness free villages with the support of St GregoriosBalagram eye Hospital in collaboration with Operation Eyesight Universal Canada.
